Devraj Singh Chouhan is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of experience in creating graphics-based solutions for low-end embedded devices including mobile and TV. He started his career as a Mobile Game Developer at Gameloft and is currently working with the Hike Messenger Avatar team as a Graphics Engineer, helping to develop high-quality optimized 3D/2D custom rendering of avatars on mobile devices. Devraj has previously worked with Samsung R&D Institute where he developed a GPU-based 3D Chart SDK with custom rendering engine based on OpenGLES, providing an API to integrate high-quality 3D (Pie/Area/line) charts in any Android mobile/tablet application. In ML-based Sticker Suggestion, he worked with the ML team to design Type-Ahead Sticker Suggestion System for Messenger App, implemented Marisa Trie to create an in-memory cache of suggestion, and added a Tflite-based Native (c++) library to speed up the suggestion. In the Android Core Team, he worked on optimizing scrolling of feeds, pinch to zoom for media feed item, and solving market-critical issues.
